Andy Harris
Andy is one of the director’s at Jim Litchfield Motor Engineers Ltd and has been since 2009. Andy is also a fully qualified motor technician (since 1980), MOT tester and member of the IMI.
Andy loves gadgets of any sort and you will never catch him without a torch in one of his pockets!
Andy enjoys spending time with his dogs which goes well with his liking of big cars including his Corvette Stingray C3 – although the dogs (his second passion) may not be allowed in that!
Due to Andy’s health issues deals with some administrative duties from his home in East Sussex.
Chris Harris
Chris is a director and the workshop manager for Jim Litchfield Motor Engineer’s Ltd. Chris is also a fully qualified motor technician (since 2010), MOT tester and member of the IMI (Institute of Motor Industry).
Chris loves re-building and converting engines, particuarly his VW Jetta Mk2 engine … it’s on the the third one!
Chris manages the team and the workload at the garage as well as the day to day running of the business.
Chris has many specialties across the garage including diagnostics/electrics and fabrication.
Liam Kemp
Liam is a fully qualified motor technician (since 2014) and has been with Jim Litchfield Motor Engineers since 2014
Liam is our top service mechanic, and being over in the pits he gets to work on all the ‘bigger’ vehicles such as 4x4’s, vans, SUV’s and more.
Liam enjoys fishing in his spare time and often turns up to work after an early morning by the lake!
Shawn Broadhurst
Shawn is a fully qualified motor technician and has been since 2011. Shawn previously worked with us from 2011-2014 and then went on to gain experience in Porsche’s and then in commercial vehicles. Now back with Jim Litchfield’s, Shawn carries out a lot of the ‘bigger’ jobs such as cambelt and clutch replacements.
Shawn will also be training in other areas of the business in order to cover Chris when he’s on well earned annual leave so you might see him answering the phone, dealing with parts suppliers and customers etc.
In Shawn’s spare time he likes to tinker with his Alfa Junior and BMW M3.
Louise Harris
Louise is our office manager and deals with all the bookings, customers, parts suppliers and everything to keep the business and employees up to date and compliant. You will often see her surrounded in paperwork!
Louise works 3 days at the garage currently due to mum duties on other days.
