Car Servicing

At Jim Litchfield Motor Engineers Ltd we offer two choices for servicing your car.
>A ‘Gold’ service - sometimes known as a full service or annual service which is advised for cars doing 10,000+ miles a year.
>A ‘Silver’ service - sometimes known as an interim service and can be chosen over a gold service if your mileage is below 10,000 per annum. Although we do recommend a gold/full service at least every other year.

Car Repairs

We offer an extensive range of repairs on a vast range of vehicle makes and models including:
>Fault finding/diagnostics
>Cambelts

>Gearbox
>Brakes and associated components
>Steering and Suspension
>Tyre repairs and replacement
>DPF regeneration/replacement and associated components
and lots more.

We always provide a quote and get authorisation from you before carrying out any repairs.

Teamed with our professional equipment and diagnostics our mechanics vast experience and knowledge we are more than prepared to be able to offer you a solution to your vehicles problems.

All our work and parts come with a years warranty for peace of mind. We always use quality replacement parts.

Engine Diagnostics

We use the latest diagnostic tools…. Snap On, Modis, Autodiagnos and the new Launch system enabling us to trace faults quickly and efficiently.
Along with extensive training our team can carry out advanced diagnostics on most vehicle makes and models.

As owners of classic cars ourselves we offer a sympathetic service for most classics,including maintenance, upgrades and repairs.

We have fully trained and qualified staff who are able to carry out just an air conditioning recharge or more complex repair work, including fitting new air conditioning condensers and air conditioning pumps.
We offer air conditioning servicing for most vehicle makes and models.

Services carried out here at Jim Litchfield motor engineers Ltd do not effect your manufacturers warranty.
The new block exemption rules mean that you do not have to use a main dealer for the servicing whilst your vehicle is under warranty.
We have access to dealer level software, including resetting of service lights, and always use genuine parts and oil grade where necessary.
We also have access to update the digital service records for BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda if your car no longer comes with a service book to stamp.
